As the United States faces a critical shortage of drone batteries driven by rising tensions with China, a European-American collaboration offers a promising solution. The launch event, held during CES in Las Vegas, featured an appearance by Prince Constantijn, a member of the Dutch royal family, underscoring the importance of this development.

The recent sanctions between the US and China have highlighted America’s dependence on Chinese-manufactured drone batteries. This reliance has disrupted critical industries, including agriculture, emergency response, and defense. These sectors, integral to national infrastructure and public safety, are now grappling with delays and operational challenges due to limited battery availability.  Skydio, having recently faced sanctions from China for having a client in Taiwan, has had to temporarily limit batteries to one per customer.

This shortage exposes the need for reliable, locally sourced alternatives. For industries relying on drones, a consistent supply of high-performance batteries is essential to maintain operations and foster innovation.

Tulip Tech’s High-Performance Solution
